Thanks for the magic, Magorium.

July 12th, 2008

Well, I just finished watching the last two of five movies I rented three days ago.

One of them had a person saying;

“Your life is an occasion. Rise to it.”

It might seem simple, but it had the power to slap me in the face pretty hard.

I feel like I haven’t been ‘rising’ to my occasion.

I mean, I have, but just not to the max yet, and I think I should. And so should you.

You see, you only get to live (in this world, no matter what your beliefs are) once. And not to mention for a brief period of stay. Time flies when you’re having fun, right? So why not make the best of what you got.

Like, for once, forget all the bills you need to pay, a superbly boring weekend alone at home,

a rejected proposal that makes you go back to square one after all the effort you’ve done,

your sick pet, a set-up with a total loser, a bad hair day,

a fashion faux pas gone public, a severe migrain ’cause a late lunch,

this guy you had a huge crush on but doesn’t even notice you,
a high fever on a hot-date-night,

your extraordinarily hard assignment that’s really close to due and you haven’t even got to the second page yet,

your favorite band’s gig that you missed because of a traffic jam,

an overcooked meal,
you suddenly got flate broke before time and you owe someone some money, you got cheated on,

tumbling a few steps on your way to get to class and got yourself a really nasty bruise,
or any other unfortunate events that you been through lately.

I mean, face it, no matter how bad things happen, you still have what’s most important:
your family and friends that would never leave you and still love you no matter what, right?

Try take a second, inhale a deep breath, look around..  and be grateful for what it is you still have.

Every single thing that you can see, hear, say and feel now is a blessing, a tiny part of His whole enormous major-plan. Must I remind you, God’s masterpiece plan is custom made, just for you.

Picture some kind of tailor-made couture Chanel summer dress, but eons better.

If you’re still questioning things and finding few coniditons that seems unsolvable.
Tell yourself that everything is gonna be just fine. if it isn’t yet, I doesn’t mean it’s not going to be.

Well,it might be tough, life is. But you’re tougher, and that it’s definitely not impossible to do.

Have a little faith, this time, in yourself.

All will be well in time, if you work, love, and believe hard enough.

I promise you, it’s worth it.

Happy believing! I’m pitching in prayers for all of us from here :)
